The minute I stepped into their pen I got down to try to snap a few pics and all 6 ran over and were either under me, or in front of me trying to figure out how to jump up on my lap!! Gotta love those Delawares!

Hi All!!!

What a beautiful day!!!

I took all the blankets off the bed, washed them all and hung them on the line. Now they all smell so nice. I did the rest of the kids laundry also and hung it all out.

Sorry to hear about the layoffs. I got that when Electrolux moved to Mexico, then my fellas Mom died, he had to quit working, got rough. But, God has seen us through the hard times. Even though we haven't much money, we get to spend more time together and like some of you, more time with the ones we love.

Makes one realize that money is not everything, nor are things.
Hope everyone gets feeling better. Will pray for you all.
Our chickens are really enjoying the nice weather, they have been running all over and the roosters just crowing up a storm.

God willing all of you will get the jobs you so desire and things will always work out for you!!!

That was a great story about the Momma bird and the fire.
Made homemade pizza for all this bunch and now they are all fat and sassey!!

Grandkids always likes it when Gramma makes homemade stuff. Even though I am just a country cook.

Wow opa nice

First baby duck today let me tell you PEOPLE kill me. The lady called and said it fell out of a tree on her kid so thinking wood duck right nope mallard. Now do you think they stole it from the nest found out they are not fun in apartments then told the story to get us to take it. You know like the commercial! To boot they feed it potato chips for 3 days I could really say some bad words right now!

We surely enjoyed the weather today!

Lots of standing water on our property....The boys, 4 and 2, got soaked after lunch. Then after dinner the 2 year old fell into a deep puddle. Poor guys rubber boots filled up with water! I hope this doesn't happen daily....I don't have time to keep running in and changing them!

We got 2 feeder pigs tonight. Cute little girls, got them from a local farmer I bought from when I was in 4-H. Rumor was they were not pig farming anymore, but the rumor was wrong.


Been grand central station here tonight. Race car tires got delivered today and everyone wants tires now! Good thing, some cash for us!

Off to get the kids to bed!

My chickens and I sure did enjoy this warm weather! Gosh, it was pretty out there. I got to work in my flower garden, pulling out grass and dead stuff. Chickens helped me...

Brushed my Keeshond, and that takes a good 45 minutes. Boy, that undercoat...wish I knew someone that makes sweaters out of that hair! My pappy puppy got a bath and a good brushing, too. Tomorrow, I'll probably take the grandkids to the park. Will be good to be outside and enjoy the warmth. Hope you all have a good one...
