Yes. And last week our youngest two who are 6 and 7 both lost a tooth on the same day and the teeth stayed under their pillows for three days. We're pathetic...

no, the worst tooth fairies leave toothbrushes and toothpaste! lol

LOL! Dang, 5 or 10 bucks?! We give a dollar and then we have to hear, "but my friend Megan got 2 dollars for her tooth". Then I say, "hey, I got a dime for mine"!

The last time my son had broke his tooth in half. For the life of me, when the tooth fairy came, she couldn't find the tooth at all under the pillow. Soooo, the tooth fairy left a couple of bucks anyway. son wakes up with the bag and tooth stuck to his neck! good laugh but we had to say that since the tooth was broke the tooth fairy must not have been able to recycle it

We have also been pathetic tooth fairies here! We told the kids the tooth fairies are busy and sometimes they don't make it to every kids house that night, be patient, they will get to you!!

I know, sad! I agree, a buck or two is our limit! Of course, we don't have those big teeth like MJ!!

Sarah, MJ is SO RIGHT - she is an unhappy person and recognizes that you are a "safe" individual to take her anger/unhappiness out on...in other words you will not retaliate.

When her toxic thoughts pop into your mind, tell yourself it's her anger and unhappiness that she has thrown your way - open the drain and let it seep out!

HAWK alert -
our gals free range during the day - we've lost one buff brahma bantie and one golden buff since the 1st wk of august - I was just out there with the gals in their free range area and the dad blasted hawk (or one of them) had the nerve to land in a tree right by me! I know I run the risk w/free ranging the girls, but do anyone have suggestions for a detterent? Owls in a few trees??/ HELP! Nancy

everything else in the bator is doing excellent, so i am not sure what the issue might of been.

hustonn...yes...they will. i have had them stand three feet away from me and glare until i get just that close and then fly off. although they have not done major damage but only once to some speckled sussex chicks. shiny things that hang help. other than that, it is just part of the territory. colored birds help.
