For all of you going to the swap------I am so jealous!! I would love to go, but I think in the morning I am going to a practice horse show for 4-H, then a b-day party in the afternoon. A fun day for sure, but I hate when there are more fun things to do than there is the time.

Hi all sort of new to BYC i have been a member for a few months, but this is my first michigan post. I live in the downriver area.(SE michigan) I am new to chicken keeping but have keep and breed all sorts of animals. I currently have 14 chickens 2-delawares, 2-Favorelles, 3-Dominiques, 1-buttercup, 1- brown sexlink, 1-brown leghorn, 2-americanas, and 2-golden comets. I also just got 4 baby fawn indian runners, and 2-baby Toulouse.

my coop in 8x8 and my run is totally closed in top and sides dug down, it is 10wide by 35 long. Im in the process of building my duck and goose pen. Almost forgot I have 3 bb turkeys and im waiting for my baby bourbon red turkeys that im gonna get from Miss jayne! she has the coolest set up and great birds thats were i got most of my stuff! also great baked goods when u visit!

It is raining out, so that qualifies as a contractors holiday for me.

Vicki, glad your husband got another job regardless of union or not it is good that he found one in these tough times.....I'm happy for you.

Speaking of jobs....I have picked up a few more from last years big hail storm. Makes 18 I did last year and 10 (for now) for this year and the phone is still ringing for more estimates. The good Lord had Blessed me and I am so grateful.

My roofing and siding sales rep invited me for lunch today....I picked Joes gizzard city in Potterville...

No swap for me.....I have enough birds as it is.....
