Thanks guys! I did go in there again and she ran away from me. So hopefully she's okay. Just abnormal for her to sit there (two different times and not move) when I tried to pick her up. I wanted to see what you guys thought about the cedar planks sitting there. They are many years old. I had posted it in the emergency/illnesses section and hadn't heard anything. So thought I'd try the Michigan thread. I'll just keep an eye on her. Thanks again.

i responded to it. also, this thread is a social thread. for problems we may want to post in the areas noted for help. your suggestion to do so was smart. you're not maligning people. you're just commenting on it.
this thread moves so fast that things move off the page and don't get noticed. also, people who come to this thread may not necessarily KNOW the answers. the other threads would draw people who are knowledgeable in a certain area.
this is not being typed with a snarky tone, but since it's on a screen, any emotion can be read into it. i am just commenting in a general way.

MJ's to do list:
1. make pork chops for dinner. check.
2. run around and yell, "Hugga Mugga Chugga Chugga". check.
3. create a bread monster out of Boyd. double check!
4. dust living room. check.

As far as a contest goes, she'd win. I'm sorta standing on her shoulders and recreating/modifying much of what she's done. She's my baking inspiration!
Let them go? Not a silly question. If I was raising bobwhite's I might consider it. right now I've got Coturnix (Japanese Quail) pretty tame. My jumbo's are almost a pound, and they are like little chickens. Lotsa eggs! oh yeah, they are full grown in 8 weeks
