I have a rather large family and we are egg eating machines, so far im getting 4 Delawares,2 Black Astralorps, 2 Buff Orps, 2 Buff sex links , 3 Salmon Faverolles , just because I have a thing for beard on animals..lol and 2 welsummers .
I couldnt decide on 1 single breed they are all so darn pretty.

O and I bought a incubator you know just in case I would like to hatch some eggs..<already looking for eggs<..lol
I hope Ill have a decent laying flock.

I just use a small strong flashlight...no reason to buy something expensive when a flashlight will do the trick!!

Oh, here's an update on the hatch! Now we're up to NINE and many more are pokin' out!

Jen the chicks look great and I'm so happy that Sheldon came through fine!! Really...who would have thought that saran wrap would do the trick?? I think you should contact the company who made the wrap you used and tell them the story...maybe you will get famous

Another morning that we dodged the snow bullet. We only got about 2 inches and that doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I sure feel sorry for the folks on the east coast. The amount of snow that they have gotten in unbelieveable and it looks like they have more in store. However if someone has to get it..............
