I have a very handsome splash English/American Orpington Roo for sale. $5.00. I'd keep him if I could but I need the one black roo. If interested please email me and I can send pictures.

Still looking for a home for 3 Swedish drakes. Nothing wrong with him, I just have too many drakes. I also have 3 six week old mix runner-looking ducklings. The drakes would be free to anyone here, the ducklings are $5 ea.

Whatever animal you catch in your trap - please don't leave it in the sun. I trapped a skunk once and called the humane society to pick it up. By the time the humane society got there, the skunk had overheated and I felt very bad. The driver for the humane society suggested that next time I tie a rope to the trap, a long rope. Then I could have moved the trap without being sprayed.
I would never let any animal suffer, wild or domestic. And our local animal control is staffed by morons. To depend on them would be stupid on my part.

We are going to be moving to our new farm in a few weeks and will be looking for some Hens. Chickmate is graciously giving me a rooster or two, which I am so grateful for and He is a handsome boy at that
So I was wondering if anyone had some extra hens that are young? We like brown eggs but would try others as well. Before we had Reds and Rocks which we really enjoyed. I live in SW Michigan near Kalamazoo, but travel Tue-Sat to Hillsdale on a delivery route so could meet after my route on my way home. You can pm me, I don't get much time to follow the thread with my crazy work schedule

They charge $76 a visit to see birds....even for chickens....I called a couple of weeks ago.
Dr. Bennett will treat your birds and you right and make it worth your while going in. In the end, he has saved me money with a correct diagnosis and timely effective treatment whenever I have run into trouble. If Ferret is going to spend money on vaccines and try to treat this bird and save his flock, he should get an accurate diagnosis first. Some things are easy to identify and easy to treat but his Silkie's symptoms sound more serious.
I was just talking to my DIl's mom yesterday and asked her where she takes her exoctic birds too and she said that she takes them to Dr. Bennett on 28th st. In a pinch she will go to Cedar Springs but much prefers Dr Bennett.
