Thanks for the replies everyone.
The 'juvies' hang out by themselves, except when they
try to burrow in under our broody Buff Orp (that's a sight)!
Today it'll be three days, so I am hoping it'll settle a bit.
Our coop is 8x12 with nesting boxes stacked vertical along
one short wall and a 3x8 'shelf' about 4 ' high on the other
wall. Their run is kind of odd shaped, but I believe we used
150' of wire to fence it off.
They get treats every day (weeds out of the garden,
and some of our wildly speading violets) along with their
mash (from the local elevator) and kitchen scraps.
Guess we'll just ride it out.
All this for a new boyfriend for them
Theron, we hit the St Louis swap once in a while (I am about
10 miles west of there).
