Oh my gosh.....I just looked at some of those pics of molting chickens and they are bad. I didn't realize that they can look so ugly and beat-up so to speak. I don't recall seeing any of my grandfathers look like that......must of been an over-look in my childhood years. So now when mine start to molt I won't panic & worry and think that they have have some incurable disease

!!

Ive decided I'm going, and I WILL wear my chicken hat. Will probably put BYC in big letters on the back of my shirt somehow.

Was out in the backyard this afternoon and the neighbors were out. I asked them if they wanted some fresh eggs.
She looked like I asked her to eat a turd. Then says, "I'd never eat something that came from chicken's butt".

So I ask, "where do you get your eggs"? She says, "from the store. They are in cartons and not from some dirty chicken butt".

Makes me wonder where her 2 children came from...

It would be funny except for the fact that most people have no idea where their food comes from. Yet they will eat McDonald's crap all day long and never giver it a second thought.

Great, this ought to be fun.....I've never been to one and it'll be nice to meet some of you folks!!
