Whew, glad to hear you're OK. What was Mom talking about? Anyway, I've been meaning to talk to you about your avatar, RaZ. Do you think it would be possible to give us a change-up? Not that I don't like your cute little gnome, but you have so many hobbies, critters etc., I'll bet you have a ton of great pictures that would make a great avatar, just to give us a change? If you think I'm overstepping my bounds here, just tell me to go suck an egg.

Good Hatch to you too Mom2, my first attempt was a total Bust, I lost all 12 and was SO disappointed. Still have the incutbator but going to hatch seeds in it now instead of eggs.

I was supposed to meet her but I stood her up.
I might have to fire up the old computer and look for a new avatar.

HAPPY like CRAZY tonight

my Brinsea came, I've read all the instructions and I absolutely hate digital stuff, but have made it come up to temp and then set my eggs: 4 buff Chantecler and 3 Barred Rocks, from my own ladies.
They are due on Valentines Day, YIPPEE.

I am setting 6 Tomaru Longcrower and one mutt egg tonight. So, I will be joining the Valentine Day hatch. Just wanted to see if the Tomarus are fertile. The first small batches and one shipment to someone did not grow at all. Someone told me that it could have been the amount of daylight affecting the roo's fertility. So I will mark each egg by the day and set them by the week, until the eggs are viable. Then I can start selling them again. I am using the Little Giant which I dislike until I get my Hova Bator back from a family that is using it for a homeschool project. They have 14 of my eggs, some are Icelandics and Tomarus. They will give me the chicks when they are done hatching.

Ok! I gave the chuckles peas. They were hesitant at first, and then it was the funniest free for all! I do think I have 5 roos for sure. Combs are very pronounced. Also, my little cripple is still all crooked toed. I have tried and tried to keep shoes/tape on her, but she is not having it. She will be a special coop chick for sure. She can stay with Roger and Leila later. Roger doesn't perch high... Or, I will build a roost shelf for her. Lol. The things we do... Well I do...

I candles leilas eggs today... I can not see anything! They are due to hatch in 4 and 6 days.... Oh, I hope she doesn't get off the last egg. That's the for sure pure faverolle from Buffy. Fingers seriously crossed. I have even changed her nest out and took scissors to her poopy butt. Omg! Nasty hen! I also used my fingernail to get as much poo from the egg... Is there anything I can wash the egg with that will not hurt it? Talk about dedicated! Also, ya'll should have heard her freaking out when she could not find her nest. Was so sweet! Poor momma!

my dogs attacked my brooder today. Tore all the cardboard off. Hahaha suckers! Welded wire put a halt to their nefarious plans.

Fiametta also got a chance to go out today. She was so happy! AVALON, she loved to free range! Lol. She is so pretty! Soon, she'll be ready to integrate! I think she will lay in a week or so. Her comb is turning red. I still miss my queen grumbler thou.

RaZ, hope May gets here soon so you will feel better. Lol

Well wishes for the doggy... I had a brit that ate carpet pad as a puppy, had to have surgery to clear him out, medicines for the formeldehyde that got in his system... 3000 big ones! Loved that dog. Some backside hole stole him from me when I was 8 months pregnant for my first kiddo....

Some people... Stole my Britney, left my pitball...And the pit was the more expensive dog... Funny thing, they had identical markings...

Anyway, now that I have written a novel...
