Man, this thread moves at the speed of light!

Raz, I like the new avatar, too. (But I didn't mind the old one.)

I let the chickens out to free range for the first time in a couple weeks. I missed being able to step outside and visit with them. They are such cute, funny critters. My little weather widget on my phone says the temps are going to be around 40 for the rest of the week. I think most of the snow will be gone by the weekend. I will not miss it.

babigyrl22- Just cut the leafy top off the fruit, and stick it in a moist potting soil, and keep moist, not wet to prevent rot. It will take a while before the plant take root and grow, so be patience. Be sure to pick out the healthiest looking leafy part. Sometimes the center would be rotten, and the leaves would fall out. Put it where it can plenty of daylight/sun. Then enjoy your handiwork.

Farmer Boy - Good luck on the hatch. My son loves those roosters and it is the only breed my husband said we can not get! He has only partial hearing but he can hear the roosters at 4:00 am ... go figure!

Has anyone seen northern lights tonight?

RAZ - I LOVE THE NEW AVATAR!!! But I didn't think the old one was creepy, just got bored with the same one.

I was just reading that the northern lights were especially bright this time. I have only seen them once in my life, back when I was about 18. Sitting on the hood of my boyfirend's old truck drinking a cold beer one hot summer night we watched the aurora borialis for about an hour. It was magnificent. I would love to see them again.

Let the gang out to free range when I got home and they were like prison escapees......RUNNING EVERYWHERE! Now they on the back porch looking through the slider....all 12.
