RaZ, you are a hoot!

Welcome everyone new with in the last few days. I have been negligent.

SOOO, I got wheat straw from borculo today for 2.50 a bale today! YEAH! I know, I save 50 big cents, but, it was 2 bucks in the end, and it was on my way home from work in a round about way.

SOOO, I cleaned the coops. I cleaned the run. I cleaned the garage. I was a cleaning demon. Do, you think the ducks realize that they have a clean coop and APPRECIATE it? I know my chickens do. The first thing they do is go in the coop, look around and then make that happy come check this out noise... I think the happy come check this out noise from the ducks really means, hey, look what we can poop on now! They will get a fresh pool tomorrow, and that gets them really going. I know they appreciate that.

I can't believe this crazy weather. I really think it messes up the chickens. I hope that all the broodiness means an early spring...

I can't wait till next month. I am looking forward to starting my plants. I am going to have more time for them if I do not find a new job soon. REAL SOON. I was thinking of going back to school for something... When I say something... It means I have no idea what... I'd like to stay home, grow my veggies, watch my chickens, and paint. LOL. Oh, that won't pay the bills. YIKES...

My my my... I have a head ache. Need coffee. No coffee still... Oh.. I forgot to go to the store... guess I will go now.

I haven't tried garlic. Just yogurt with a little nutri-drench for good measure. She's really liking the yogurt. If I am a little messy and get some on the bottom of the crate she starts pecking madly at it. Right now she's still pretty pathetic looking. She's too weak to stand so I am hand feeding her. I was hoping that she would have gotten some energy back to stand up by the time I got home. :: deep sigh ::

I'll keep at it though.

RaZ - Cool avatar! I love it even more than the flower one! Didn't care for the face target. Too bad you can't make the biker chickens your avatar, too cool!

I'm finally also beginning to really like this new format. We can do so much more with the text and font and loading pictures couldn't be easier!
