Olive !!!!

Well, at least you know that those lambs will have dinner dates if they want. LOL.

But not with me! LOL. I am not much for lamb, so I guess I best not get lambs... cuz then they'd grow to sheep... and they'd end up forever eating and pooping with no end in sight. I already have that with the ducks.

Size, confo, overall look/health.

Being the size of a yearling at 20 months is the biggest issue. Like 1muttsfan said, calving ease is a huge consideration and it has a lot more to do with the future than just this first calf. She's more likely to have calving issues regardless of the bull you breed her to and her size severely limits your options for breeding her in the future. Calving issues are expensive and quickly lead to loss of both cow and calf.

Another thing is that you wanted a dual purpose cow. This is not a heifer that's going to provide you with dual purpose calves.

She's not worth what they're asking for her and she's probably not going to gain any value going forward.

She's just, imo, not a good investment. I'd keep looking.
Thanks Olive for your honest opinion, I will go what you have said, and let the seller know that I am no longer interested in the heifer.

OK, I'm too lazy to go to the store tonight lest it interfere with BYC time. I guess it's eggs or a can of tuna for breakfast tomorrow!!!

Wow un-named, you sound just like me. I was too lazy to go to the store so I looked around to see what I could make. I found a recipe for cinnamon coffee cake for breakfast tomorrow. It turned out great. Then I discovered I have NO COFFEE!!

I was writing... Thoselambs areso sweet.... I missed the darn spaces and hit submit.... So it came out threesomes weeks sweet.... I don't know how auto correct came up with that, and I was in a hurry to flip the French toast. That's what I get for cooking and typing on the touch pad at the same time!

Oh Nova, we love you. Thanks for giving us so many laughs!

Just gave me a new name for my next chick.

And if I can ever have a roo, it will be ala king. Or maybe Herb.

If you can ever have a roo, I will hand deliver it to you! Of course, I'll have to run Mom over as she is trying to get there first. Love the names!

Just took a quick trip back to Australia after dinner. Those people are so nice over there.
