Raz- I hereby appoint you as phone number collector. Make a list and then you can send it out to everyone who wants it. I dont know if you still have my number, but I will pm it to you.

I just walked out to see the chickens. Almost got flogged. Make no mistake, had I been flogged by an Uggo, after my husband called 911 there would have been a chicken massacre. But, the Uggo rushed me and when I turned around he walked back to where he came from.

The boys need to be captured and crated. They were standing at the back fence and crowing. Telling the neighborhood nah nah nah boo boo..time for stew...

Quote: Mom2 please don't do this by yourself - hand your husband a big fishing net and a dog carrier and hopefully he will get the idea!

Is your pain better? Can you show up at your Doctor's office and wait in the lobby (pacing and moaning) until they solve this medication problem? (can you tell I worked in that field?)

oh theres no way I can do it. I cant even sit or stand or pee or nothing without pain. Thats why if I would have gotten flogged, I woulda had to call 911..
I found some tylenol 3 from when my husband got his tooth pulled a couple months ago. It is a life saver.

I had set my emu eggs yesterday at 4 pm, that is over 24 hours since the eggs came in the mail.

I had borrowed a digital scale from a neighbor, it does lb, oz, and grams!

Egg D- 604 grams

Egg E- 630 grams

Ooh! Can't wait until hatch!

Mom2, the earliest I can come down is Saturday morning/early afternoon. Catching chickens is not a problem, I can bring a friend to help round them up.
You should be resting and recovering.

Quote: YEAH!! There is usually something that works! Glad you were in and out of surgery quickly and now you can tell everyone what to do at your house!

I hope Ferret comes over with a fishing net and he and your husband can fish those Uggos out of the backyard and into a pet carrier!

Ferret-
that will be great. I have two teens and a husband here that can help catch them. Wont be hard. I just cant do it. Hopefully, I can get them to capture them for you before you arrive and they can be ready to go :)

Hubby says maybe we can meet you somewhere half way. He thinks I will be feeling well enough to do so. If that is the case, Id be happy to do so and save you part of a drive.

Let me google from here to there and see what we have.

I should go get them and hold them until Saturday, just so my rotten neighbor can hear them crow!
Ain't I a stinker?

I am thinking of another way to do this Mom2. What if we show up at Chickenstock with some phone numbers on us - like a business card and then exchange them? Because then everyone can bring their own contact information and hand it out themselves. No copying or distributing required.

When the city made me get rid of my four original hens, I got a cookie jar that crowed...and took the crower off of it..put it on my deck. Every time we walked outside we would lift it, and make it crow. My neighbors got to hear it crow all the time.

Ferret- looks like 23 and 96 is about half-way. Do you know of somewhere there that we could meet you?
