Oh and Raz if yard work makes your neighbor that upset you might want to do a whole yard landscaping project. Make sure to get a load of manure and dump it right next to the fence.
Raz, how bout you make it pig manure, too. I bet she'd love it.
It was compost. Two yards of compost.
The hosta bed has been dressed and top covered and several new plants planted.

Very soon the rain garden goes in and that will be a whole new can of worms.
I'm sure of that.

Teeville- I second that question. How old are your chickens? I'm curious as to when they know to go to the coop.

Raz- you're something else.

I can't speak for Teeville, but the chicks in my pictures are about 8 weeks old. They have been in the big coop for 2-3 weeks and go in to roost all on their own. They usually go in about an hour before the big girls do.

And is "something else" a compliment?

Good Morning everyone, first cup of coffee is done. It's going to be another typical German spring day, grey and rainy, so far it has been about 2 weeks since I think we saw the sun last.

Juise, when I make granola bars I use natural peanut butter and honey, after I mix it all together I pack it back into a sheet pan and bake it for 8-10 min or until it starts to brown. Then I let it sit overnight on a cooling rack and cut it into bars/squares in the morning with a serated knife. About 3/4 of the bars stay together and the rest becomes loose granola for yogurt.

Thanks to everyone for the inputs about bantams, you all have such great advice/inputs.

Oh good about the chicks being so you g and putting themselves to bed. I was envisioning myself having to go out and call/round up all those chickens! Haha

Raz - yes, it's a good thing. You tormenting your neighbor cracks me up.

Almost time to go home! 2 1/2 more hours.

When it cold and damp outside, a cup of coffee tastes especially good. Every day there is something to be thankful for. Today is going to be a good day to read a book and be thankful that the roof doesn't leak.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....I smugged chicks into work for Robin to pick up....they're not happy about being in a box. Keep peeping....which makes it hard to hide them!

Oh wow, that is really awful. What sizes do you need? I have some random extra diapers I can send you - Most of them have been used quite a bit but still have life in them.
