All I said was that roosters aren't known for laying eggs.

Juise... Keep it until it crows... OR mounts a pullet... Cuz that boy is never going to lay an egg for you. BUT, here is some hope... you can keep it... with a few of his own hens, and sell those eggs to pay for the feed... Just a thought. And then, when you have a broody hen, let them hatch out a few of those egg, and keep your pullet supply up, and sell/rehome the excess roosters.

Well, I guess people like that serve some purpose.

I ordered my counter today and was told to pay for it at any cashier. I also bought a piece of plywood that I had them cut for me. The cut was off by an inch and the worker said that they would give me 10% off the price. So the cashier rang up the plywood AND the counter less 10%.

LOL! No problem. Most people don't know. If you didn't know it also automatically uploads it to your BYC photos here so you have to manually delete it from there too. You can prevent that by unclicking the box on the picture insert page, but it's easy to miss. The old boards didn't do that and I had several iPhone pictures (which I post because I don't care about them) auto upload when I shared by URL. Little thing, really. But kind of annoying.

LOL! It's not just BYC most forums have something to that tune. You agree that you'll only post media you own the copyright to and by posting you give them permission to use it. I only know because my day job has a heck of a lot to do with intellectual property rights and it was something I learned there. Not because I read agreements. LOL! I did a quick search a while back and BYC is simply not an exception to the rule. They do assume usage rights when you upload media here.

Was building a trellis for my flowers tonight when I for some reason decided to hit my thumb instead of the nail. Split the end of it open and will probably lose my thumbnail. Boy is it throbbing now.

I was just checking out the buff orpington ducks... and I think maybe my girls are crossed with those instead of the runners... Maybe a campell/orp or an orp/pekin... The black bills really throw me off...
