Well, mostly all the thingies in my hair set off the gates, lol. I'm not sure I look incredibly threatening... I do my best, though.

Thanks! So I took Waffles and all the week old chicks out of the brooder and let the silkies get warm, eat and drink. Then I added Waffles back and she too in the babies. She was trying to get them under her! Talk about a forceful mama. Then I added the week olds one at a time every 5 min or so and everyone is getting along now. Hopefully it stays that way.vj- I think you were the one who wanted to see a pic of a bantam chicken next to a standard. This one was taken a few weeks ago. All the chickens are a year old and the little orange/white roo in the middle was our Gomer. I had a porcelain d'uccle roo that was the same size as him, but we last him earlier this year. My only bantam left is a sebright hen and she is slightly smaller than what Gomer was.

Okay, that is pretty spooky. You look a lot like my second wife. Except she didn't have cheek dimples.Okay.. these are the best I can do... Not very good pictures, like I said. And these are both of my very least favourite set of dreads, too. (I've had three.) Still not sure I really want to post them, but... ah, well. >.< These are 4 / 5 years ago.
Not necessarily so. On a trip back from the islands, there was a grey haired lady with dreads who was smoking! Then at a charity event where we were shaving heads, one 40 plus Mom sold her hair. Her teen-age sons shaved her in a Mohawk and it was pretty darn attractive.dreads are cool....would love tohave them too but, never a good look on an older chick..... so is a MO. ... also never a good look on an older chick... my DH has a tattoo on the side of his head and was always scrutinized when he flew, esp if he was freshly shaved.
I like your dreads Juise. You're pretty too.![]()
Ok so who knows what color my grey silkies are? Are they blue, splash, ?
Seems to me like if Raz had all naked neck Uggos when he goes to court they would have a hard time proving that he is raising chickens.
So.![]()
After Eeyore left here the other day, the small human asked if she could put the goose eggs that the one goose had been setting in the incubator.
So... who wants some American Buff Goslings?

I hope she will soon be feeling better. My mother hurt her back today![]()
When I returned his parents had come to pick him up and he was busy telling them how he had helped me wrap eggs to send to a man in Opahoma.
What did I do?!!!Someone needs to take my money away from me. I went to find two silkies and they mysteriously doubled into four. What are they grey-ish ones? I know I have a partridge and a black but I don't know what the grey ones will be. I tried giving them to Waffles and I think she was overwhelmed. She's not having 8 babies she said.
Who can blame her really?![]()
