well, i guess i have to use the penicillin for another 2 days. Bleh. Poor girl. I can't do orally either, it's worse on their gut flora. Been using people needles, so at least i know it's as gentle as can be.

Yes, I'm sure I'm a kid.

I guess five years of not doing my grammar has really paid off. I am not a big texter so I didn't learn all of that nonsense either. I love reading so I learned all my grammar from that, I guess.

There is a nice steady drizzle here. The ducks are in the big tent coop and the chickens are out in the rain. They all look like drowned rats. Judging by the number of robins in the yard, the worms are near the surface and the dining sign is lit.

I should be doing indoor chores like laundry and bathroom cleaning. Instead I'm playing stupid computer games.

I don't know that it's not texting or just not being lazy. Textspeak was/is fine when you're working in a limited environment like a phone without a true keyboard. Carrying that over to a place when you're not is just lazy. That and the notion I hear so much of "this isn't an essay for school I'm being graded on so it doesn't matter" doesn't seem to apply to you either. The people who use that cop out seem to forget that the only way people have to get to know a person on the Internet is in the words they write.

I would imagine it's also, in large part, the reading. There is something to be said for learning new words in context rather than just learning them from a list. Not to mention being exposed to different styles of writing and how they impact the reader.
