Curious... have you ever been to MIS?

Well in this dream, I had these little chicks- and I was moving back up here from Tennessee- and Sam was helping me move, but his name was Kendall..and i couldnt find the box of chicks...and these guys had them, and I kept asking why cant I have them back and 342 kept saying he was sorry- and the bad guys were laughing and saying, "They are already paid for"..and I was begging for Kenny the duck (????)
The bad guys kept saying, "You get the car-why are you complaining?"

And then I had to drive, to try and come home, and it was dark and I couldnt see well and I think I was wrecking when I woke up.
Most of the details of this dream have faded now, but it was disturbing.

Here, I'll make you feel better. I used to have recurring dreams about human sacrifice. You want disturbing? Spend all night trying to out run a Satanic Cult. Exhausting!

< That's what all the farmers are doing now because we got rain too!! Or they might be doing this >

because they had their irrigators set to run this morning and it rained shortly after the crops got watered!!

i don't really like the farmers that I have around my house!! It's nice that their irrigation waters part of my front lawn, but it's really NOT nice that they decide to start to harvest their crops at 11pm!! And they work until 3 or 4 IN THE MORNING!! The field is directly across from my house, so their lovely BRIGHT lights on their tractors shine very nicely into our house! It lights up the house like its NOON!! Very hard to sleep over the noise and the lights shining right into our bedroom window. Bad thing is, we have really dark curtains too!

I had a coon problem and got a trap from my mom and I asked her if that coon would fit and she said yes. I seen that coon and it was HUGE!! I don't even see how the sucker would fit through the doorways to the coop! I would have laughed if it got stuck!! We eventually shot her and then we had no more "disappearing" eggs!!

Farmers harvest crops when they can and often that is a very short window of time. I can assure you the very little amount of sleep you lose over that one field is NOTHING compared to the sleep they're losing -- and the amount of time their families lose both in sleep and time with them -- getting all the fields out. But, by all means, please be certain to complain extra loud about it the next time you're sitting at the table filling your belly.

Happy Father's Day Everyone!

We kind of celebrated last weekend because there was no hiding the giant grill I hauled home from the store. So we celebrated with dinner and an afternoon of assembly.

We'll celebrate again this weekend, too, though. I don't have a Dad... that's right, immaculate conception... the new new testament should be out soon.

So all I have to do is spoil DH and thank goodness for that. Too many people and I'd up and run out of warm, fuzzy emotions.

Had I known it was going to be cool and drizzly today I'd have gotten the stuff to make Chicken Cordon Bleu, his favorite. Might have to run out for some swiss cheese.

Quote: Well, you have my sympathy! That would be miserable. When we lived in Los Angeles we would be woken up in the night by helicopters circling above and shining huge flood lights into our yards as fugatives ran from yard to yard to escape police. Sirens also were a constant noise. Guess the suburbs are the quietest.

Yes, DH went to MIS a few years ago with his company. We were in charge of a demonstration setup. They totally hooked us up with a tour, great seats and pit passes. But I can't stand watching cars go around and around in circles for HOOOOOUUUUURRRRSSSS..... Give me drag racing any day though.

We also got DH a grill! We got the dual fuel one and my 3 boys and I put it together. What an experience! Three hours later we had a sturdy, working grill with no extra screws.

It even works!

Me, too!

Happened so often I was always waiting for some to run through my yard! Where about in LA? We had a house in Gardena southeast of the corner of Crenshaw Blvd and 152nd street. I still remember seeing the helicopter formation while the cops followed OJ on the freeway!

You've been and you still let him take your children there?! And I thought I was a lax mom. LOL!

It drives DH crazy that I'm always "forgetting" the washers. I'm convinced they're just extra metal to make men feel manly when constructing things. So... the last three things I assembled -- a wagon, a desk and the grill -- I used ALL the washers. He can't say I don't do anything for him.

Hey, he's a 37 year old, grown man. If he can't handle 3 boys(I keep typing 2...hmmm lol) then I don't know what to tell him. He's been in training nearly 9 years for this moment of handling all of them alone....I hope.

You're such a good wife, humoring him with washers and all.

Just talked to DH and he said they are there and in their seats, right in front of the start/finish line. He's keeping a very watchful eye, and hand, on them so he doesn't lose them. Obviously it's very crowded.
