With all due respect, I'm going to disagree.
I've raised Amazon parrots, Cockatoos, cockatiels and budgies. The bigger birds liked to share the shower with me or my GF. The smaller birds loved a spray from a squirt bottle. Dust was hardly an issue.
On the other hand, the chickens I have are the dustiest things I have ever seen.![]()
She can have what is suppose to be mine hahahaha
What an array!
Hey your Highness - Anybody ever tell you that you are a wicked wicked woman ?Don't worry, m2, I'll pick RB's uggos up and bring them back this way for her.![]()
I see. I agree with the house chicken thing. I raised my chicks indoors and they were terribly dusty as they got older. Even with daily cleaning of the brooder, I could hardly wait to get them outside.Sorry for the misunderstanding, the "they" in that sentence was in reference to the chickens. I wouldn't want a house bird because of how dusty they (the chickens) are, because I'd just "know" in my head that the house birds were putting bird dust, to some extent, into the air.
ETA: After reading Nova & Swampducks' posts looks like the dust is just one reason.![]()
