BF is trying to prove that his boss is schrewing him out of money... she has changed his hours several times and most recently change hours to another pay period to save herself from paying him 13 hour of overtime. The computer keeps track of all the changes she has made... but the head honcho said he is too busy to go through every payroll (BF started in Oct last year... not that much to search!)
He is, also, thinking about sueing her for sextual harassment due to coments she made insinuating that he is gay with his service manager.
Not sure how I feel about sueing thing...

Daron -

My heart is breaking for your family. There is truly nothing as painful as losing a child. I will pray that God's will is done in this situation knowing that He is the great physician and can perform miracles. I pray that Micah is born whole and healthy and serves as a true living miracle, a testament to the awesomeness of God.

My DH and I lost our first child during the second trimester. I went to the dr. on Friday and she made an offhanded comment about how this was going to be a normal, boring pregnancy because DH and I were so healthy. The following Tuesday my baby was gone. If God should choose to take Micah home, please, please, please allow your sister and her husband to grieve. Anyone who has not experienced this loss can truly not understand how much your arms ache for someone you never had the chance to hold. Also, as much as you can, protect her from the stupid comments that people make in trying to be consoling....like since there was something wrong it is for the best, etc....I didn't care whether there was something wrong with my baby, I loved that baby with all my heart and wanted that baby, perfect or not. My family is the type that you don't talk about such things so for the most part I bore my grief in silence and alone. I rejoice in the two children I have (both whom had pregnancy complications) but eleven years later I still miss the daughter that I didn't get to hold.

Sorry, not trying to be a Debbie-downer today :-(

Wednesday night I noticed one of my turkey hens bleeding on her back. Guess the boss was being a bit rough and cut a 2 inch gash in her back. I brought her inside, cut off all the deadish skin and stuff, cleaned her up as much as I could. Tape does not stick to their skin for some reason, so I ended up stitching her up myself. She looked pretty good this morning so I hope she'll be ok.

Works gotten really busy for me (which is good) but it means I can't be on here much!

Hope you guys all have a great weekend!
I'm so envious that you got to stitch it up! As weird as that sounds. But I hope she heals quickly and her mans settles it down a bit!

RaZ, you'd love my son. He willingly took a dip in the stream there at CS. Said he found some weird looking lobsterlike things. I told him what they were, and he said he thought they were only down south ways. LOL. Nope kiddo. He used to be all grossed out by bugs and such, but now, he has hit the fascinated age, and I am grossed out. LOL
I do believe by the water dripping from my youngest boys that they were in that stream too. They said something about helping another boy catch a crayfish, crawfish...whatever.

My weirdo cat is chasing his tail....in a pop-ice box.

Why are my animals so weird? Oh now, he laid down for a nap in it. lol

Is she sitting on eggs? My muscovy duck is in the chicken coop sitting on eggs while I've removed all the ducks to the old beaten up duck pen. Mr Duck just wouldn't leave her alone. Now he's chasing after his children. Mrs Duck seems much, much happier. If you think she's safe from predators there, leave her.
No she's never sat on eggs. The only thing I can think of is her mate has gone a little crazy with the females lately. He's a very big boy and a few weeks ago we think he crushed one of the females to death. Not sure but that's what it looks like. He's not bad now. All Penny does is just sit over there with the pigs, or she'll pace around following them or if they're napping she will nap.

YES! He wanted me to call you and see if they could come over and play! LOL, I told him you guys lived way to far away for that. SO, he said next year then. LOL
Awww! Yes, next year it will be. My boys had such a good time. And to think they almost whined the whole way there about going to that "chicken thing".

Am I wrong in thinking my mom has dementia? I am in the boys room cleaning, and i kept throwing the dirty clothes I am unearthing into the hall by the bathroom so they can go down the laundry shoot. What does she do? She picks up the pile I am amassing and brings them back into the boys room and dumps them cuz she didn't know why they were in the hall way but they were in the way.... WTH? The other day she asked me how long to boil eggs. Today she's cooking hamburger, and she just kept cooking it and cooking to the point where there was no more grease and the meat was drying out. I asked her to keep an eye on it a second cuz the birds were having a royal fit outside over something. Stray cat was back... didn't get it, but scared it off... well anyway, I came back in and she's still cooking the meat, and now its ruined, but she didn't know... There are other wacky things like that, and its getting worse, and her doc thinks I am exaggerating... Now I just yelled at her for being an idiot cuz I swear to God she's driving me nuts with this stupid idiot stuff!
I would also get a second opinion if possible, getting your sister to help talk to her may help, she could be having some small strokes as well, hope things settle down for you soon.
Absolutely crazy, how can you prove a chicken died because dogs were barking ....if it was an old chicken it could have died cause it is old, or almost anything else. I love my chickens but....
I'm not posting a picture. The last time I did, everyone complained that my blinds were crooked.

I'm back home from conducting a pond dipping exercise at MBG with a bunch of Montessori kids. We caught some crayfish and a good size live mussel in Flemming Creek. The kids were not allowed in the water but I had to be in so we could get the good stuff.

When did kids get so squeamish about bugs, snails, plants, mud and muck? Even the 3 biology interns who shadowed us were grossed out. Heck, the muck was less than knee deep and we only found one leech.
If you don't like kids, how come you do all this stuff with them??? the answer to the question is computers and TV,,, they aren't allowed to get dirty, germs you know.... my DIL has never allowed her boys to get dirty, the youngest went through a time when he washed his hands after touching ANY thing DS does his best to normalize them....DD has 3 girls and they love to catch bugs, live or dead, pick up toads, and are frequently dirty when playing the later does not have computer games or game boys. She started taking toys away cause they don't pick them up, they don't care they make dolls ect. out of sticks, leaves, pine cones yarn any thing they find. ... video games and TV have robed our kids of imagination
OK nough said I will get off my soap box
