I here to get the info I need prior to our family getting chickens! I want to do this right the first time:) We moved to a small 2 acre lot with farmland, woodland, swampland all around! Our own little paradise! We have our indoor pets but now we are almost ready for a few pet chickens! Hoping to rescue some "Easter chicks" from the city folk who ignorantly purchase them at pet stores because they are cute... That's our plan, at least!
