Micro Farm Coop Worklog [UPDATE: SHINGLES ON - PAGE 27]

I'll be building my own windows.. Have a large storm window outside that's got a split in it which I'll be cutting down for use.

I'm only painting the trim. The siding I will be sealing. Wanted to let it age for a while so it got a nice gray shade to it.

You will definately have to post pictures of how you make the windows. I have a lot of windows from freecycle.com to use make cold frames and a green house with. A bunch are single pane and the wood frame is not worth salvaging and I need ideas on how to re-frame them.

Amazing job on your coop building.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading through the progress in these pages.

Still have yet to make the windows.. Also want to expand the run, but been so hot outside, I've not wanted to start.

Windows however, I'll be starting on as soon as I clean up my shop some.

Thoroughly enjoyed your building blogs!! DH and I have started our coop, FINALLY. I drew inspiration from your work, and I admire your stick-to-it-iveness. If I didn't have help with some of my projects, they just wouldn't get done!!
I'll be adding the link to your construction worklog to MY building log, which I hope will help some folks who maybe think they cannot build a chicken house.

Wow that is a GREAT COOP. If you don't mind me asking how many 2x4's and sheets of plywood did you buy for the coop???

Thanks for the kudos. Still have things to finish on it.. Darn lack of motivation.

C&Rman: Erm... If I were to guess... I'd have no clue.

Been a while. I'll take a quick estimation count tomorrow morning though when I go take care of them and the ducks.
