I have heard that BCM can be a little more difficult to regulate humidity with due to the thicker coating of color “painted” onto the eggshell. Hopefully they will pip soon!! Are they so dark that you can’t see in them when candling?

Thank you! That does make sense.
Chatted with the owner of the hatchery, and she said it’s not uncommon - in her last batch, the BCMs took a day later to pip.

I candled them before lockdown - 3 of them I could faintly make out veins, and the fourth was on the edge. But all had nice big air cells, so I have hope for all of them.
