Middle TN - Wilson County Fair Poultry Show and Sale 8/21-8/29

Just a heads up re. one of the nicest county fairs in the great state of Tennessee - - the Wilson County Fair in Lebanon, Tennessee runs from August 21 - August 29.

Poultry judging is on August 22, and many of the birds will be for sale after the 4-H and adult judging is finished. Even if you don't buy birds from the show tent, you might look up the owners of birds you like and find out how to buy more. Ronnie Davenport will be overseeing the poultry tent, and he is very helpful to speak with about finding owners, or just poultry in general.

The weather should be nice for opening weekend, so come on out! There's a lot more going on at this great fair! Hope to see BYC'ers there.

I am planning to but don't know if I will get there or not I love the poultry barns just to see what others have thanks for the reminder

We will be going but my chickens are staying home..it's just so long of a fair so many things could go wrong.It was real tempting to enter a few though.Plan to go tomorrow morning..have one kiddo not feeling well though.

I'm definitely going! Last year, it's what made me want to change the chicken laws! Love those chickens!
