Midget Whites ???

Can someone give me some info on these Turkeys? I aquirred 6 poults in May, 5 of which turned out to be little toms, would like to get some more hens if anyone can tell me where I can find them. Mine have been like raising 6 little puppies, and have enjoied it.

I can't help you much because I just acquired my first Midget White. He's a cutie and is probably going to end up as a pet and not on the table.

The only way I can get Midget Whites is to purchase hatching eggs. Shipped eggs are a gamble and I only got one to hatch. They are such small poults that I suspect that it would be extremely high risk to ship them.

You might try putting a wanted ad in the classified section here on BYC. Also try some wanted ads on Craigslist. Figure out how far you are willing to drive for poults or adult birds and use Craigslist in those areas, too.

There are lots of people raising turkeys in Texas, where you are, and maybe you can locate someone who raises Midget Whites.

I raise Midget Whites, I have for about 4 years now. They are great birds.
I do sell hatching eggs in season, but I don't ship poults.
I am TP clean for the State of Texas too.

I just saw you are from Texas, I do allow farm pick up.
