Midnight raiders

My girls go in to roost about 5:00 or so. I stock the feed and lock them in for the night. Recently they have been getting up to eat around 9:30. Only the higher ups seem to be getting up now since the lower ones get pecked when they go in the feed room to join them. I keep plenty of food out and they free range they have food in the coop in the run and outside. This is new for them any ideas whats going on?

They have a night light and are 2 coming up in march. I am finishing up on purina feather fixer now they had their first molt.

Is the full moon hitting the coop then and waking them up?

I always hear more night crowing during the full moon.

Well, they have a light, so they are just coming off the roost to eat.
I know you mention it's a "new behavior" but if they can see, they often are going to move around at night.
