I have one lonely rooster surrounded by lovely ladies that he cannot mate with (they are turkeys.) I was thinking about finding him some of his own ladies to protect and mate with. I know that my Royal Palm turkey has a hard time mating with our BBW turkeys and he usually "can't get the job done" because of how big the BBW turkey are. I was wondering if this applies to my rooster. He's a white leghorn that weighs about 6 pounds. Does this mean that I shouldn't try a breed over his weight range? I just want him to be successful in his mating experiences. Thank you :)
