Trio Nesting Together

My three Ancona hens have made a nest and are all laying in it, each hen an egg a day. They seem to be sharing it nicely. I’m happy to encourage broody behavior, I would love for all or one of them to be mommies! Has anyone had ducks share a nest and do they take turns sitting on it once it’s time? Has anyone had success with Ancona ducks going broody?

Yes, I have had 3 broody ducks on the same nest. Not a single duckling hatched likely because they kept moving the eggs so much. They do not take turns. They either sit or they don't. Honestly you are still at a stage where you don't know if any of your ducks will go broody, nevertheless all 3. As long as the nest is in a secure place take one step at a time. The first is seeing if you get a broody duck.
