The lady that sold me Ducky has an add on Craigslist for Runner, Crested, Muscovy, and Call ducklings. I might go up today and bring home 2 or 3 ducklings. I'm getting a muscovy for her to be friends with once he/she is old enough and a Call duckling to just keep as a pet.

I'm also thinking about moving her/them outside into my wooden shed once grown. What would you say is better, a ceiling window or a regular one?

I go with a regular window, habit for humanity resale has loads of windows starting at 3.00 each we have used them for some of our houses, I like the reg windows because in the winter I can leave the top part open for ventilation and there is no wind coming over the ducks. Congrats on your new ducks when you get them. be sure to cover outside of what ever you use in hardware cloth to keep the preds out.

I agree with ML, regular windows are good, back them with hardware cloth(screwed & washered ) i use antique windows here our habit for humanities are rather amusing and rarely have anything of any value, worth a good laugh mind you... that's why i went with the old wood windows...

Also check garage sales, local ads for people getting rid...
