Most feedstores purchase from hatcheries like everyone else, so their chicks are already sexed and sorted.

Have you seen the one where Mike is collecting semen and then doing AI on turkeys?

I would think sexing chicks would be far preferable, even if more difficult to do correctly.

Having helped birth MANY calves before, I found it very interesting to watch a city-slicker do it! My Aunt mentioned a couple years ago that she saw one about artificially insemenating cows (which I may be interested in doing on my own cows). I'm gonna see if I can find it!!!
