Are you sure this bird is mounting the other and not sparring for the pecking order? Pretty young to be mounting already. If this bird truly is mounting the other bird, it is possible she is a he! Watch the comb. If it starts shooting up much bigger than the BR's comb and turning a bright red soon, you do have a cockerel there!
