Milk crate laying boxes

We had been looking for interior design for the coop & came across a video where a man used milk crates. We thought it was a fabulous idea & very easy to take out & clean when needed. Once the chicks have grown, we will just put hay in the boxes & will be ready to go!!!!

Fabulous! I would caution only that chickens will roost at the highest spot they can get to; you don't want them to roost in nest boxes, they'll poop all over in there, and then the eggs laid after will be dirty. So, you might want to raise up your roost just a bit.
