Milk crate nesting boxes???

Did I read somewher that milk crates can be used for nesting boxes? If so, how does this work for people who have used them? Post pictures if you can! It sounds good in theory and would be easy to clean and sanatize if necessary.........

I use milk crates. We built a stand out of leftover lumber, so it was off the ground. Used a 2x6 in the front so the egss wouldnt roll out. Works GREAT!!!
