Milk Skimmilk Or Kefir To Chickens

I have been reading the "feeding poultry" book by g.f heuser and on page 165 it talks about protein intake on chickens..
meat blood milk etc..

and the findings of many studies show that milk is beneficiary..

talks about buttermilk to be the best and dried form..i cant source it here..therefore need to find an alternative..

i have asked the question one more time in the forums and didnt get too mayn replies except one being milk bad for chickens...

does anyone have any experience..

yogurt may be? full yogurt or low fat?

skimmilk?

kefir?

I have fed my chickens old rice milk that no one wanted (it hadn't gone bad- just past the exp. date). And they LOVED it.

If I had a cow I would give them the leftover milk. No questions asked.
