Mill Dates

Finally decided to call the CO-OP again to see if they knew where and how to decode the date. Ha. They haven't a clue. I found it myself. It is the Lot#019212 in tiny letters at the bottom of the nutrient tag if you can see it. 01 is probably the plant or shift, 9 is 2019, 212 is the julian date code.

I did buy a bag of feed from them and the code showed 2 weeks old but I guess I'm the only one who knows that.

FYI, it appears Purina has switched to two digit year and day number for mill date. Waiting to hear back from customer service for confirmation.

Confirmed. Changed mid December 2021.
