Hi
Curious if you’re able to figure out sex of Mille Fleur d’uccle chicks at 4 weeks old?
Pictures attached.
don’t mind the pens plexi glass front, they like to smear it with water marks and throw dust at it from their dust bath haha
Behaviour wise - they bump chests at each other throughout the day and fly at each other but also cuddle and preen each other.

1 & 4 look like cockerels, but it may be a little early to know for sure.

How many toes does the one with the dark comb have? It doesn't look like a pure D'uccle.

It's still pretty early to tell for sure, but 1 & 4 looks like boys. Also, they don't look like pure D'uccles. Their skin is black.
I didn’t know this, thank you for pointing it out. We were told they’re Mille fleur d’uccle but I’m very new to chickens so I honestly wouldn’t know what to look for to confirm they were truly what we were told they were.

They both have 4 toes. Someone else mentioned they’re not pure. Kind of disappointing, as that would be the second time that’s happened now.
The second chick looks to be pure, but the first one with black skin isn't.
