You won't be able to sex until it's 4-6 weeks old. Chickens do not have dew claws, some breeds will have five rather than four toes, but d'Uccles are not one of them and yours has the normal toe number You might be looking at it's leg feathers!

Oh my gosh! I totally misread what you wrote! I call them "dew clays"

The closest correct pronounciation (I speak some French) is something like meal-flure or mele-flewr(not millie or milluh) and then dook-leh or dook-luh with the accent on the dook. Not dew-clay. So...mealflure dook'luh.

I speak quite a bit of French…I believe the pronunciation is milleh-flOUre. Not that you can necessarily picture that sound over the Internet lol.
D’Uccles - I’ve always just called them Duh Uckles in my head. I’m sure all D’Uccle breeders are gasping in shock and horror at me.
