I am wondering how my MF pair stack up against the standard. What do you the experts think?

Dot the hen-

Both were hatched last May (a year+ ago).

They are pet quality birds not show quality. Sorry.

But what makes them pet quality and not show quality? Can you explain the standard to me please? I get muddled up when reading it and am not really sure about the details.

Both are hatchery birds, so I assumed they wouldn't be show quality. I'm just trying to figure out what I should be looking for.
