My 2 mille fleur layed her first egg this morning or afternoon cause I got up at 11:1 and that's when I went in the chicken house and got it from the mille. Is it normal for a chicken to lay so early?

I was tolled they were supposed to lay at 6/7 months.

The first smaller eggs that a pullet lays aren't good to try to hatch; give her a few months to produce eggs that are much more likely to hatch. Yes, these first eggs will be fertile, but wait for better chicks later. mary
