The cocks are very protective of their hens, but are gentle with their caretakers.

The birds love to free range, but stay relatively close to their coop.

Hens will sit and make excellent mothers. .

Awesome birds, especially if you have limited space. They eat very little food, and are prolific layers of medium-small cream colored eggs.
