Miller Mfg. Electric heater base

Hi can anyone tell me if a Miller Mfg. electric water heater base is safe to use inside a hen house with pine shavings?

You need to use common sense with any electrical heating device.

That said, many have used this product with success.

I have mine up on a couple patio pavers to keep it out of the shavings. Seems to work well.
