Is millet a good food source or should it be just a treat. Still feeding game bird feed but dnt want them filling up on millet
Millet and millet sprays are a great treat for them, but not as an only source of food. I throw in a few millet sprays each day for the quail, but not enough to fill up on them all day.
I agree it shouldn't be their main diet but it doent hurt to give them a bit each day. I give mine a few sprays a day and they are very happy!
