I am hoping for a girl, but would like other opinions. No red to the comb (it is just now getting bigger), hackle feathers seem rounded, but I only have the 1 d'Uccle and have nothing to compare it to.

I am going to hazard a guess and be a bit out of character regarding sex prediction (by being optimistic) and say female. But I can not see if there is a bit of red starting at the base of the comb or not, and four weeks old is too young for male sex feathers. You should be able to tell more definitively in about two weeks.

I love D'Uccles. I have 2 boys and a girl. I think it is too early to tell. 8 weeks would probably be good. Cute chick. :love

eta: you could try pulling a pin feather from around the hackle area to see if it is pointed or not, but it still may be too early to tell.

good show stock you can sex by at least 3.5 weeks but with hatchery d'uccles i would wait till 8+ weeks i am leaning towards a pullet though

this one is around 4 weeks in this pic thought it was a pullet

i am hesitant on this one i see coloring that would indicate a cockerel, the darker buff feathers (the same coloring my cockerel had that i noticed only after going back through pics)

I would recommend a close up of the head like the one hdowden posted for sure. Plus, it's fun to get to see those cute chick faces. :)
