Well it's crazy new but good news I got home after work close to 8 pm went get to check on chicks before hitting the house as we go trew the garage which is were the chicks are and one of her eyes is magically open how can I test if she can see out of it or not eye slit seems a bit deformed but I'll take it my love and extra support must be helping I made sure she found food and water and would use my fingers beside both sides of her head kinda like horse blinders so that way she wouldn't miss the opening in the food dish same from water still whipping the other eye now in hopes it to will open also I think I read something that for them one eye is far sighted and one is near if that's the case and one doesn't open hoping to learn to strengthen the one good eye may be way over thinking lol

That's encouraging news! Does it look like she is trying to look around at all? I think I would try dangling something shiny on that side of her head to see if she notices it.

My chicks have always pecked at my jewelry and still do as full grown hens so it must look interesting and get their attention.
