I was about to say the same thing. Those look like some nice healthy sockets with good depth and great form (shape). Be interesting to hear what the OFA says, but personally I don't think you have anything to worry about!

They look like a "good" or possibly even a better rating! That's wonderful--especially for a Rottie!! "Excellent" rated look like there is no halo at all--really like being joined at the hip (no pun intended!). I was told my Belgian Malinois has "Excellent" rated hips but I don't have her films as the were done by Military (she was in Air Force). Whether they are "good" or 'excellent" it is great news

The vet said a possible excellent, certainly a good, and the elbows look normal.

Milton had a Good/Normal on his prelims at 14mos.

Milton has 3 OFA Excellent littermates so far, all with normal elbows.
