Mimosa Trees - who wanted them? **MAIL BY 12 TODAY 7/6 LAST CALL!**

Ed,

I, as well as others I'm sure, appreciate all the information you've provided, thank you.

The mimosa saplings were asked for last year before you were a member by some members on here when we were all discussing plants/trees that members didnt like / were issues - and Mimosa trees came up. Some people love them (even though they can be an issue) and some do not - but there were alot of people that wanted saplings, and knew how these trees were/are - as I promised them saplings and cannot keep them alive long enough to transport via USPS, seeds are the next best thing. I intend to keep my promise and honor it

Thank you again for all the information - I want to ensure everyone is well informed of the Silk Tree / Mimosa tree before they plant it, and now they are.

Hugs to you!
Deb

Heres a trick for ya, I stole it from one of the seed catalogs, wrap thier roots in wet paper towel then put the roots and towel inside a baggie, I have sent them, and seemed to arrive just fine, now they are invading someone elses yard.

Would you notice if I came and dug up the boxwoods instead? I could bring you some Kudzu roots if you want.

Think We could get some shade and beauty in this yard and nothing seems to thrive in our yard just grow slowly so I don't think it'll get too wild

I thought about that Wizard...but I wondered if they would get root rot given the heat?

You want boxwoods? LOL! Hey..if you want them and know how to root them - feel free to come out and cut clippings off any one of my HUGE 9 boxwoods - they are at least 100 years old. We just trimmed them about 2 months ago and got 8 wheel barrell's full of clippings we threw away

kudzu...It's terrible stuff I tell ya!!! With the hight humidity down here in south Alabama the kudzu will actually latch onto the humidity and grow skyward several hundred feet....low-flying crop-dusters have to be careful not to run into a fresh patch that sprung up over night, otherwise it'll be the first heavy frost before we can find the plane. When we were kids we were camping out about an 1/8 of a mile from a big patch...had a heavy fog that night and the next morning the tendrils were creeping over our sleeping bags....almost didn't make it out of there...we could hear it coming after us as we fled the woods. Terrible stuff, I tell ya, plum'terrible....
