He looks dominant white or a "paint" rather than splash to me personally. He's also a mix and for a bird to wind up splash, it'd need a copy of the blue gene from both parents which seems unlikely given that he is a mix. He seems to be white rather than a very light grey and his dark splotches look pure black to me

Is there light brown by his wings or is it just the picture? If he does have brown in his plumage, then probably some type of mix.
