Minerals for Chickens

I started making my own ffeed and paid a hefty price for minerals. Can you use minerals for gardens--I doubt it but am curious. I think kelp would fill the bill.

I would not use stuff for gardens if it were me. I am always worried about lead and such.

I use Redmond Mineral Conditioner. I have used kelp meal before as well (very spendy). I get mine (Redmond) from azurestandard.

I would use the minerals specifically for chickens. Its probably a lot safer
