Mini chickens?

My friends gave me some chickens cus he didn't have space for them and me being a carpenter I made them a cage but I'm curious to know what are they called cus I can't find then anywhere

Enjoy them and welcome. If you spend much time here, may as well start building a bigger coop. I can tell you need more.

I built that just for those two it has a top tier for their chick's when their grown

It's a nice looking pen for them. I just meant chickens are addictive and you'll be wanting more before long...It doesn't help reading about and seeing all the members flocks.

I have a big backyard so if my flock gets big I'll build more. Just wondering is it safe to put them with quails?

Chickens can be seriously territorial. Might not be a good idea to have them housed with quail. Plus, quail typically need a feed with a lot more protein than is healthy for a chicken to consume long term.
