ok I have learned about the nigerian dwarf goats and saw somewhere that there are mini sheep as well. how about cows? I want a mini cow, I think I would kill for a mini cow, just kidding but seriously does one exist? Maybe I could say it was an exotic dog and get away with it

There are mini cows, Holstein, Jersey. You can buy two full size ones for the price of one mini! Just google mini cows! They look just like full-size ones. There are also beef cattle minis. Theresa

OMG you are right I did a google search right after posting this (should have done it first but I would have posted about them either way I suppose)

Just as you typed about the dexter I found it in the search, very cool. anyone have some? do they make a decent amount of milk? its just me and my ds, oh I wonder if I could get away with 2..... I cant believe I am thinking about this lol is there any way they would be consided a exotic pet like a pot bellied pig or are they considered livestock?

We raise Dexters, and they're wonderful! Our last calf was about 25-30 pounds when he was born. Here is a photo of him at 2 months old -- to give you an idea of his height when he was born, his nose/back was knee high to me, and I'm 5'8.
